Here is a Pardon Request.
As you are more than aware, I am a bit of a pain in the ass. But, I assure you. It's very much for the right reason.
At 19 I was struck by a drunk driver. For a while there, it was touch and go. I had sustained broken c3 and c5 vertebrae which is very serious. Few- very few remain paralyzed from the neck down. There had also been significant trauma to my left leg to the point of it having to be amputated.
Within a year, like Tiger Woods, I too walked it off after a good, solid year.
My accident wasn't fully the fault of the drunk driver. It was also the result of early formative childhood abuse, and then again as a young student at Regis University. Suffice to say, there's a reason why many teachers are Jesuit priests!
Having survived relatively unscathed, and being ever so grateful to have survived and intact I found my way into service, and focused on the other little Johnny's out there whose voices is drowned out and who may not make it.
As it stands, there are 3 of us kids that hadn't and I've been holding on by a thread after a bad cop, a for-hire Assistant District Attorney, and a hand-picked judge who stated before it even began that he was not going into a second week to upset his vacation any further chose to believe a lying sociopathic starlet who has
The Reason:
1. I am not guilty.
*I refused a Disorderly Conduct son I would not perjure myself.
2. Sergeant Kevin Blake Committed a Class E Felony to make a high-profile case.
3. Manhattan ADA Anjelica Gregory suborned perjury and lost her job after a complaint was filed.
4. Legal Aid NYC didn't do any work on the case presuming that 95% of cases plead out.
*we were switched 3times with my attorney only having a week or so to make a case.
5. Appellate Attorney advised me not to go to the Appeal, only to find afterward one Judge had actually asked my whereabouts.
We were up against not only a movie star but Gavin DeBecker and Associates.
Mr. DeBecker also represents the managing partner at Kirkland & Ellis. At trial, Ms. Gregory actually boasted about our case was her last for the Manhattan DA. She also expressed her upset at having to put 'innocent people in jail.'
I simply added that she should not suborn perjury then!
6. David Bernstein. Center for Appellate Litigation. Interestingly enough, my case was one of the last cases for Mr. Bernstein as well. David Bernstein is now the Managing Attorney for the Office of the Appellate Defender.
Mr. Bernstein and I had promised a retrial. However, wanted to first appeal. Upon reading the appeal, it was clearly not intended to shine favorably on me. In fact, the way it was written even I had found myself guilty.
Essentially, the NYPD Sergeant of the 6th Precinct created a story to support his wanting to make a high-profile arrest. Businessmen rise in the ranks for closing deals, and bad cops make Lieutenant by violating a human being. Or scalping.

We were incorporated as a 501c3 by Skadden Arps in 1998. I had not kept up the paperwork because we had vowed to become an exemplary nonprofit that truly was nonprofit. When they suggested that Sandy Hook was not a legitimate reason to have our neighborhood join us in our fight for gun reform, to honor the 26lives, and to attend a Hallmark sponsored tree trimming event marking Sandy Hook’s 1st year, I began to second guess myself.
After all, who am I to think I could do something so grand?
I was just a boy who survived a sexual assault by a neighbor and by a college priest who just so happened to try and take his life on Sept 26, 1986. Only I didn’t die, and I was blessed that I wasn’t paralyzed from the neck down.
Most people who break their C3 and C5 do remain paralyzed.
My contrition was dedicating myself to service.
the only problem was that as the bumper came in contact with my left leg shattering it all to hell, my forehead went straight into the windshield. up and over.
I then found our incorporation papers were still online, and we are still recognized as a legitimate Incorporated 501c3 by the state of New York.
We are Newtown's are first boots-on-the-ground organization to go to Newtown in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook shooting.
Having lost a boyfriend on flight 175 on 9/11, I knew how every one of the 26families was feeling. That day as I paced my apartment, I learned of a similar shooting in 1996 at Dunblane Primary School. I then thought back to my previous summer in East Hampton and the man who had shared with me his philanthropy and how both he and his wife became the 11th family to join the Gate’s Giving Pledge.
Without hesitation, Bill Ackman had placed me with the head of his philanthropic arm of Pershing Square, the Pershing Square Foundation.
The day after the shooting I had sat down with Julianne Moore who happened to be working on a project with my mentor, Craig Zadan of NBC Broadway and films such as Footloose.
Julie, myself, and her rep. Stephen Huvane talked about gun reform and the power and influence of celebrity needed to get it done. Mr. Huvane is the brother of a very powerful man, Kevin Huvane. I had known Kevin since 1992 and had worked with Stephen just 8yrears prior on an event for Ms. Nicole Kidman as we celebrated women in film and brought awareness to depression. We celebrated ms. Kidman for her Oscar win and worked with famed Producer Scott Rudin to plan a wonderful evening around his film, The Hours.
Julie and I had also talked about my going to Newtown to support the bereaved as New York had been. We were also going to build a Center similar to what Dunblane had done after their similar horror.
Within a year of DUnblan, the UK had changed its gun laws ending mass shootings in all of Britain.
We would do the same.
To achieve gun reform, we enlisted heroes in film, on television, and within our communities in ways that the public and its impressionable kids would hear. Only then can you truly change for the better?
NYPD Sergeant Kevin Blake heard that model-actress Brooke Shield had been in the precinct as a precaution. I had parked my car on her street as I had for about 8years- jockeying them within the West Village. To identify my car, I had made a note that only Ms. Shields would know, or so I thought. After going downtown to the DMV near World Trade, I came back to find my car not only wiped clear, but my 2door German sports car scratched. Immaturely, I took to social media. Ms. Shields then thought it best to have a chat with the 6th precinct should things escalate. They of course didn’t.
Ambitious Srgt Kevin Blake decided to do some investigating. What he had found was an altercation between my baby sister and a tow truck driver. Kevin Blake chose to rewrite the script to suggest I was behind the altercation and that I had somehow brandished a gun of some sort.
I have been working with Sandy Hook since 2012. I’d hardly be a candidate to perpetrate gun violence. Blaker then fabricated his Informational Report/ General Investigation which is a class E felony. NY penal code 175, knowingly filing a false statement.
The former Manhattan ADA Anjelica Gregory ended up suborning Ms. Shields and her husband Chris Henchy to commit perjury. Everything Ms. Shields had testified about was an easily proven lie.
The day in question. I had a DMV appointment. Yet, Ms. Shields testified that I followed her to the West Side Highway.
Husband Chris Henche and I discussed this in front of my pharmacy of 20+ years complete with an employee of Village Apothecary in attendance.
Judge Kevin McGrath was hand-selected and unfortunately had to come in from his vacation to preside. Wanting to get back to his vacation he had also refused a second week of the trial. In his refusal, he sealed my fate. We had a Sandy Hook dad, a Sandy Hook mom, Chris Kelsey-the Newtown assessor who had been in charge of the Sandy Hook memorial, a fireman, a policeman, and a couple of volunteers I had met while taking care of the memorial every night for the 15days.
What Ms. Shields was upset about was the Sandy Hook invite to the Hallmark sponsored tree lighting ceremony honoring the Sandy Hook 26, and our marking the 1year mark and sharing progress. We had hoped all Sandy Hook organizations, and other like-minded organizations would all meet and we’d then all work in tandem to solve our nation’s gun violence e pandemic. I was foolish.
Why do I deserve a pardon? The same letter and a Sandy Hook memorial rescue bear were not just sent to Ms. Shields as an invitation.

Both Dr. Oz and Anderson Cooper’s had an invitation and a Sandy Hook Memorial Rescue bear.
Julie as mentioned is a mutual friend of mine and mentor Craig Zadan. She had also taken our mission to Mom’s Demand/ Everytown. So, we very much are legitimate.
Liv Tyler and I had similar exchanges while parking. However, she was kind about it and over the Holidays I’d help decorate the front area of her Brownstone. I’d also help move in an item if I was around when she was in need. She had also been the recipient of a parking spot. Especially if it too was out front of her home. I felt it was not only handy but safer as well. I have to laugh! The West Village often has many intrusive paparazzi. Whom I think are stalkers.
